Account & Data Deletion — Audiobook Junction

Method 1: Instant In-App Deletion (Recommended)

If you have the Audiobook Junction app installed on your device, you can permanently delete your account immediately:

Open the Audiobook Junction mobile application.
Ensure you are signed in, then tap the Profile (“You”) tab in the bottom navigation.
Tap Edit profile (or tap your avatar).
Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Delete User Account permanently section.
Tap the red Delete account button.
When prompted, type DELETE MY ACCOUNT into the confirmation field and tap Delete.

Warning: This permanently erases your account record, coin balance, bookmarks, and unlocked episodes immediately. This action cannot be reversed.

What Data is Deleted?

Account Credentials: Full name, registered email address, and Firebase User UID.
Profile Assets: Custom profile picture, avatar references, and associated metadata.
Library & Activity: Saved bookmarks, listening streaks, audio timestamps, and unlocked episodes.
In-App Economy: Virtual coin balances and promotional reward records.

Locally cached data stored on your device (such as downloaded episodes or cached book covers) is automatically evicted on account deletion, but you may also clear app storage via your device settings: Settings → Apps → Audiobook Junction → Clear Storage.

Method 2: Remote / Web Deletion Request

If you have uninstalled the app, lost device access, or cannot log in, you can submit a manual deletion request directly to our privacy operations team:

Subject Line: Account Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Audiobook Junction account. Our team will verify ownership and complete the permanent deletion across all databases and backups within 30 calendar days.

What Data May Be Retained?

Certain non-identifying operational records may be retained strictly as required by applicable laws:

Financial transaction identifiers and purchase receipts maintained by Google Play and Apple App Store for statutory tax, accounting, and anti-fraud audits (Berrycoders does not store credit card or banking details).
Aggregated, anonymized telemetry metrics that cannot be linked back to your identity.
