By downloading, accessing, browsing, or using Audiobook Junction, you explicitly agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as outlined in this Policy, and you acknowledge our content licensing standards. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please uninstall and cease using the Service.

Audiobook Junction operates a transparent, dual-stream audio catalog designed to deliver premium literary access with strict adherence to worldwide intellectual property and copyright laws:

A. Full-Length Audiobooks on Public Domain Works

We produce and broadcast full-length audiobooks exclusively based upon literary works that reside legitimately in the Worldwide Public Domain (including classic works where copyright protection has expired under applicable national laws — generally pre-1928 literary works in the United States, works where the author died 60+ years ago under Section 22 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, or 70+ years in the European Union and United Kingdom).

• The underlying public domain texts are sourced from verified public archives, including Project Gutenberg and open historical repositories.
• All audio recordings, sound engineering, voice narrations, acoustic mastering, and performances produced by or commissioned for Audiobook Junction are the exclusive intellectual property of Berrycoders Private Limited.

B. Transformative Podcasts & Audio Summaries of Contemporary Works

For modern, in-copyright titles, Audiobook Junction does not broadcast or reproduce full-length verbatim copies of copyrighted texts or publisher audiobooks. Instead, our catalog provides:

• Original Podcast Episodes & Literary Reviews: Hosts and narrators analyze key themes, character arcs, historical context, and literary devices.
• Educational Chapter-by-Chapter Summaries: Transformative, simplified explanations designed to help students, busy professionals, and general listeners comprehend key ideas.
• Critical Commentary & Discussion: Commentary created under the Fair Dealing doctrine (Section 52(1)(a) of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957) and the Fair Use doctrine (17 U.S.C. § 107 of the United States Copyright Act) for the express purposes of criticism, review, education, scholarship, and news reporting.

03. Author Direct Publishing & EPUB Submissions

Audiobook Junction is committed to empowering independent authors, self-publishers, indie writers, and rights holders worldwide. If you have written a book and wish to distribute it across our platform, you can publish directly through Berrycoders Private Limited.

Submission Process

1. Authors or authorized copyright representatives can email their manuscript in .epub, .pdf, or text format directly to our acquisitions team at [email protected].
2. Our audio production team reviews the manuscript, assesses narration style, and handles the voice recording, digital audio mastering, chapter splitting, and metadata integration.
3. We publish and distribute the audiobook on Audiobook Junction globally, connecting the author with our international listener base.

Author Representations & Licensing Grant

By submitting a manuscript or EPUB file to Berrycoders Private Limited:

• Ownership Warranty: You represent and warrant that you are the sole legal author and copyright owner of the work, or hold the explicit, verified legal authority from the rights holder to license the work for audio adaptation and streaming.
• Non-Infringement: You warrant that the manuscript does not defame any individual, violate privacy rights, or infringe upon the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property of any third party.
• Production & Distribution License: You grant Berrycoders Private Limited a non-exclusive (or mutually agreed exclusive), worldwide license to produce, synthesize, narrate, broadcast, stream, cache, and monetize the resulting audio edition on Audiobook Junction and its associated networks, subject to agreed royalty or commercial terms.
• Author Rights: Authors retain underlying copyright in their original literary manuscript at all times.

04. AI-Generated & Derivative Cover Art Policy

To maintain visual originality and avoid brand or packaging confusion:

• All book cover illustrations, episode artwork, album cards, and banners displayed within Audiobook Junction are synthesized using generative artificial intelligence tools and digital graphic design software.
• We do not scan, photograph, reproduce, or display original commercial book covers, retail dust jackets, publisher-trademarked cover layouts, or copyrighted photograph prints created by external publishing houses.
• All visual representations are independent, creative, artistic interpretations inspired by the public domain stories, classical characters, or episodic discussion topics.
• If an author submits their own custom cover art along with their EPUB submission, they grant us permission to display that specific artwork within their book listing.

05. DMCA, Copyright Notices & Grievance Redressal

Berrycoders Private Limited respects the intellectual property rights of creators worldwide and operates in strict accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512, “DMCA”) and Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (India).

Notice & Takedown Procedure

If you are a copyright owner, author, or legal representative and believe that any content, summary, or audio broadcast on Audiobook Junction infringes upon your copyright, please send a written Notice of Claimed Infringement containing:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (title, author, ISBN, registration certificate if applicable).
2. Identification of the specific material within our app that is claimed to be infringing (exact Book Title, Episode Name, or in-app deep link).
3. Your complete contact details: full legal name, physical address, telephone number, and official email address.
4. A statement that: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
5. A statement that: “The information in this notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that I am the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
6. A physical or verifiable electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

• Consent: For delivering personalized advertising (via Google AdMob) where required by regional law, and for optional profile picture uploads. You may revoke consent at any time through your device settings.

08. Third-Party Services, SDKs & Ads

Audiobook Junction integrates trusted enterprise software development kits (SDKs) to provide reliable streaming, authentication, and advertising. Each provider adheres to strict confidentiality and security protocols:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC): Used for user authentication (Firebase Auth), cloud database (Firestore), media storage (Firebase Cloud Storage), and crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics). Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Mobile Ads / AdMob (Google LLC): Used to deliver banner ads, interstitial ads, and rewarded video ads that allow users to earn coins. Google may use your device advertising identifier (AAID / IDFA) to serve relevant advertisements according to your ad personalization settings.
• Google Sign-In & Apple Sign-In: OAuth identity providers that allow one-tap authentication. Apple's “Hide My Email” feature is fully supported.
• Cloudinary: Content delivery network used to optimize and cache visual media and book cover art.

09. In-App Purchases, Coins & Rewarded Ads

Audiobook Junction features an accessible listener economy where users can unlock premium episodes through:

• Rewarded Advertisements: Users may voluntarily choose to watch short video advertisements delivered through Google AdMob to earn virtual in-app coins. Coins are credited directly to the user's account upon ad completion.
• Coin Pack Purchases: Users can purchase coin packages through Google Play In-App Billing (on Android) and Apple In-App Purchases / StoreKit (on iOS).
• Virtual Currency Nature: Coins are digital, non-refundable virtual tokens with no cash value outside of Audiobook Junction. They cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for fiat currency.
• Financial Data Safety: Berrycoders does not collect, receive, or store your credit card, debit card, UPI PIN, or bank account details. All financial transactions are securely processed directly by Google or Apple.

10. Data Retention & User Account Deletion

We retain your personal information only as long as your account remains active or as required to deliver our services, settle disputes, and satisfy statutory tax and legal obligations.

How to Delete Your Account & Data

You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time:

1. In-App Self-Service Deletion (Instant):
   • Open the Audiobook Junction app.
   • Navigate to the Profile (“You”) tab.
   • Tap Edit profile.
   • Scroll down and select Delete User Account permanently.
   • Confirm the prompt. Your user record, bookmarks, unlocked episodes, coins, and profile data will be permanently wiped from our live database immediately.
2. Web / Email Request:
   • If you have uninstalled the app or lost device access, visit our deletion portal at audiobookjunction.berrycoders.com/account-deletion or email [email protected] with your registered account email.
   • Your account and data will be fully deleted within 30 days of verification.

11. Global Privacy Rights

Because Audiobook Junction is distributed globally, we honor statutory privacy protections across all jurisdictions:

You possess the following statutory rights:

• Right of access, rectification, and erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”).
